Kristine joined BayCoast Insurance in 2012 following the acquisition of J.M. Doherty Insurance Agency, where she had served as Controller since 2000. Starting as an Accounting Associate III at BayCoast, she was promoted to Senior Accountant in 2015, Assistant Vice President of Accounting in 2018, and Vice President of Accounting in 2023. In her current role, Kristine manages all accounting functions, prepares regular reports, and focuses on improving processes for increased efficiency.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Southeastern Massachusetts University and an Accounting Certificate from Bristol Community College. Additionally, Kristine is a registered IRS Tax Preparer, a Massachusetts Notary Public, and a member of the National Association of Tax Preparers.
A dedicated volunteer, Kristine serves on the Executive Committee of the Whitfield-Manjiro Friendship Society and helps organize their museum and community events. She also volunteers with Neediest Families, New Bedford Connect YMCA, Shepherds Pantry, Credit for Life, Fairhaven Varsity Club, and Better Community Living.
A lifelong resident of Fairhaven, Kristine is a member of St. Joseph’s Church and enjoys participating in 5K walks. Her hobbies include spending time with family, appreciating old cars and motorcycles, sport shooting, drag racing, hiking, Zumba, and traveling.
