We are hosting a FREE Community Shred Day and are inviting the community to have their personal documents shredded safely and securely during a free Community Shred Day event, happening Saturday, May 4, 2024, from 9:00 am to 12pm at BayCoast Insurance, located at 560 Wilbur Avenue (Route 103) in Swansea, Massachusetts.
The process is easy and convenient. Simply visit the BayCoast Insurance location with up to two boxes of documents to be shredded. A shred truck will be on-site to immediately destroy your personal information during the three-hour event, which will take place rain or shine. Volunteers will be available should anyone need assistance.
Anyone can become a victim of Identity theft, which is a serious crime affecting millions of Americans every year, as a growing number of thieves attempt to steal personal information to commit fraud. To protect yourself, you may want to consider having common household documents properly destroyed. These documents may include tax records, old bills and bank statements, credit card statements, and canceled checks.
BayCoast Insurance will also be collecting donations for Gifts to Give, a local nonprofit organization that assists children in need. Please consider bringing new and gently used clothing and hygiene products for babies, toddlers, and teenagers to the BayCoast Insurance office at 560 Wilbur Avenue in Swansea through May 4, 2024.
