With more than 25 years of experience in the insurance industry, Denise Thomas thrives as Operations Manager in our Commercial Lines department. She oversees the operations of our Commercial Lines Service team, ensuring high retention through industry knowledge and exceptional client service. Denise supports our account managers in delivering consistent, proactive service that strengthens relationships and helps our South Coast community protect what matters most to them.

In her role, Denise stays connected to clients, servicing some of BayCoast’s largest Commercial Lines accounts. From marketing policies each year to securing the best coverage at the best price possible, Denise is committed to helping protect local businesses with insurance coverage clients’ trust.

Behind the scenes, Denise keeps the department running smoothly and efficiently, managing monthly reports, coordinating staff meetings, and scheduling. She also writes and implements Commercial Lines procedures, because great processes make exceptional service and solutions possible, and that’s what BayCoast is all about.

Denise’s professional experience has shaped her into a clear communicator and a patient, effective trainer. She takes pride in developing her team, whether she’s introducing new procedures, refining workflows, or helping account managers become confident and proficient within the BayCoast agency management system. Denise is committed to empowering others to grow, succeed, and deliver outstanding service to every client.

Denise has achieved noteworthy designations during her career, including the Accredited Advisor in Insurance (AAI), Certified Professional Insurance Agent (CPIA), and the Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR).

Outside of work, Denise is a proud co-founder of the Jonathan Stout Safety Around the Water program at the Attleboro YMCA.
